Aims and scope

Mycology : An International Journal on Fungal Biology is an open access journal that publishes research in all fields of mycology, fungi, and fungus-like organisms and lichens. Mycology is the official journal of the Mycological Society of China and it aims to provide a platform to meet the needs of a demanding and growing field, and to serve and engage dialogue between Chinese mycologists and the international community. The journal is co-sponsored by the Mycological Society of China, the State Key Laboratory of Mycology and the College of Life Science of Nankai University.

Mycology publishes papers in all fields of mycology including:

Taxonomy and systematics

P hylogenomics and evolutionary biology

Ecology and biodiversity

G enetics and molecular biology

Genomics and secondary metabolism

Bioinformatics

M orphogenesis

C ell biology

Fungal biotechnology and new techniques

The following types of papers will be considered: Original Research Articles, Technical Reviews or Notes reporting new research, and Invited papers.

The journal operates a single -blind peer review policy.
