Phytochemistry Reviews is an international review journal that publishes peer-reviewed reviews and perspectives.

The journal presents insights and syntheses advancing knowledge of plants with respect to their:

Chemistry;

Function;

Biosynthesis;

Effect of their specialized compounds on other organisms; and

The application of such knowledge in agriculture and industry

In addition, the journal publishes topical issues, some of which result from meetings organized by the Phytochemical Society of Europe (PSE) and by the Phytochemical Society of North America (PSNA).
